Dr. Ahsan Mahmood
Dr. Ahsan Mahmood is a dedicated and highly trained dentist known for combining clinical excellence with a patient-centered approach to care. He began his academic journey at Carleton University, where he earned an Honours B.Sc. in Biology in 2011 while actively volunteering with community organizations across Ottawa. His early passion for science led him to pursue graduate research at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine, where he studied heart failure and developed a strong foundation in evidence-based healthcare.
Driven by his interest in blending science, artistry, and patient care, Dr. Mahmood earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto in 2017. He then advanced his clinical training through a rigorous General Practice Residency (GPR) at Montefiore Hospital in New York City—one of the largest and most prestigious hospital-based dental residency programs in North America.
